Paint Correction

These machine polishing services are designed for cars with swirls, scratches, bird lime etchings and oxidised paintwork.

Our inspections prior to bookings can confirm what may or may not be achievable.

A high degree of skill and time is needed to carry out work to a high standard.

Multiple paint depth readings are taken from each panel of the vehicle to ascertain the degree of correction that is achievable and also what pad and compound combinations can be used including various machines, combining and managing your expectations and what's achievable with your vehicles paintwork

We offer two standard types of machine polishing services, both are much more in depth than a simple “machine buff” or “mop” - which can often lead to poor results if done incorrectly!

An Enhancement Detail usually consists of a single stage machine polish. Improving on the finish of the paintwork, removing fine scratches, swirl marks and defects at around a 50-60% correction rate. This often takes around 1-2 days to complete.

A Correction Detail takes this step further. Often involving multiple stages of machine polishing for a much more improved result.

This can take many days to achieve the desired results.
Prices start at £400.00

Included in these prices are a thorough exterior deep clean, decontamination of the bodywork and a 6-month wax or sealant is then applied to protect the bodywork.

Upgrades are available and we do recommend having a look at the ceramic options on offer to further protect your vehicle and maintain the improved looks!

SINGLE STAGE

A single stage machine polish using various polishers with the appropriate pads and compounds for your vehicles paint and condition. This will help to remove minor scratches and swirls as well as improving the gloss clarity and reflectivity to the vehicles paintwork.

What's included in our single stage detail.

• Exterior safe wash, including alloys/tyres and arches cleaned.
• Door shuts cleaned.
• Fully decontaminating your vehicles paintwork of tar deposits, iron fallout and any other contaminants.
• Your paintwork is then ready to clay bar removing what isn't visible to the eye, this preparation ensures your paintwork is ready to be machine polished.
• Paint depth readings taken prior to testing/completing to find your vehicles perfect compound, pad and machine combination to get the best out of this single stage detail.
• Panel wipe/IPA to remove all compound and oils inbetween stages ensuring the paint is perfectly clean for the next stage.
• Paintwork and alloys treated to a dedicated paintwork sealant. *Both of these options can be upgraded to our ceramic coating option at additional costs*
• Windows treated with a glass sealant to help improve visibility in wetter days/months.
• Exhaust tips cleaned & polished.

MULTI STAGE

A Multi stage machine polish using a variety of rotary and dual action polishers with the appropriate pads and compounds for your vehicles paint and condition. Multi stages help to remove heavier scratches, swirls and bird lime etchings.

What's included in our multi stage detail.

• Exterior safe wash, including alloys/tyres and arches cleaned.
• Door shuts cleaned.
• Fully decontaminating your vehicles paintwork and glass windows of tar deposits, iron fallout and any other contaminants.
• Your paintwork is then ready to clay bar removing what isn't visible to the eye, this preparation ensures your paintwork is ready to be machine polished.
• Paint depth readings taken prior to testing/completing to find your vehicles perfect compound, pad and machine combination to get the best results for each cutting stages and finishing stages that is required for its Multi stage detail.
• Panel wipe/IPA to remove all compound and oils inbetween stages ensuring the paint is perfectly clean for the next stage/s.
• Paintwork and alloys treated to a dedicated paintwork sealant. *Both of these options can be upgraded to our ceramic coating option at additional costs*
• Glass windows treated with a glass sealant to help improve visibility in wetter days/months.
